A Miracle Elixir : Make your own Miracle Medicine from Honey, Garlic and Vinegar

Basic Elixir Recipe

Here's how to make your own miracle medicine...

Put the following in a blender...

1 cup unfiltered apple cider vinegar (called the mother)
1 cup raw honey (unpasteurised)
8 cloves garlic (organic preferred)

Mix on high speed for 60 seconds. Pour mixture into a glass container. Seal and leave in the refrigerator for five days. Normal dosage is two tsp. in a glass of water or fruit juice, grape or orange juice is best before breakfast.

I can't remember where I found this, but I remember that great claims were made for it as general clear all, and although I have no medical knowledge with those ingredients how could it do you at the least any harm!

Some of the claims
* Ease the symptoms of coughs and colds without drugs or drowsiness
* Reduce the appearance of wrinkles and keep your skin moist
* Boost your libido and energy
* Instantly treat common ailments like indigestion, heartburn and headaches
* Soothe stings, bites and rashes the natural way
* Sleep more easily at night... get rid of bad breath...
* Tackle fungal infections quicker than expensive sprays and creams!

Today I've just had my first dose, first impressions it's like drinking liquid garlic, it's too early to say more, but follow this thread for more news

Harnessing Manuka honey's healing power

Hi
Some time ago a relative (Tom) asked me to circulate a recipe for Honey & Aloe Vera which claimed to be a cure for cancer (click here).

The recipe didn't claim to have any scientific proof, but curiously I have recently read that Honey is the only food that does not spoil and now I've come across an article which adds weight to Honey's claimed curative powers, please give it a read below.

Honey has been known for its healing properties for thousands of years - the Ancient Greeks used it, and so have many other peoples through the ages.

Even up to the second world war, honey was being used for its antibacterial properties in treating wounds.

But with the advent of penicillin and other antibiotic drugs in the twentieth century, honey's medicinal qualities have taken a back seat.

But that might be about to change - thanks to one New Zealand based researcher.

Working in his Honey Research Unit at the University of Waikato, in the central North Island, biochemist Professor Peter Molan has identified one particular type of honey with extraordinary healing qualities.

Professor Molan has shown that honey made from the flowers of the manuka bush, a native of New Zealand, has antibacterial properties over and above those of other honeys.

Cancer treatment

Cancer specialist Dr Glenys Round has also found honey to be an effective treatment.

The honey is exported widely

"We've been using honey to treat fungating wounds, where the cancer has broken through the skin," she said.

"The results in that situation have been excellent."

Most recently, she has had success in using honey dressings on patients with wounds or ulcers resulting from radiation therapy.
